Just Perfect Professional Organizer

Have you ever had doubts about what to hang, what to store in drawers, how to choose hangers, and other small decisions when organizing your wardrobe?

Well, today we’ve brought a true manual to help you with these doubts!

Let’s dive in!

What to organize in drawers

What should you allocate in drawers and what’s the best way to do it?

Well, drawers are the best place for small items like socks, underwear.

In this case, it’s essential to use dividers to ensure that everything stays in its place!

You can use organizer trays, baskets, or boxes, the important thing is to ensure that each item leaving the drawer will have its reserved place for when it returns!

One type of item that raises doubts about whether or not to allocate it in drawers is T-shirts.

They can indeed go into drawers; what should determine this are two factors: your preference and the available space.

Allocating T-shirts in drawers works very well when folding the pieces, accommodating them side by side, vertically. This way, all the pieces are visible when you open the drawer, which greatly contributes to practicality!

What to organize on hangers

Hangers are darlings for many people! Some dream of having a closet only with hangers!

They are indeed great, but can everything go on hangers?

Well, some care is needed!

There are pieces that can end up being shaped by hangers, such as wire pieces and some types of knitwear, they weigh, pulling the fabric down, and you risk taking the hanger shape on the shoulders, wherever it goes!

We recommend that these types of pieces be allocated on shelves.

Also, follow this rule: 1 hanger, 1 piece!

A basic premise to always remember when organizing any environment is: what’s not seen is not remembered!

And if you cover one piece with another on the hanger, you seriously risk forgetting about the one underneath!

We only recommend overlapping pieces on the hanger when this overlap also occurs in use, that is, when it comes to pieces that you really use together!

How to choose hangers
Keep in mind that for most pieces you will hang, the piece will have the width of your hanger.

This means that the choice of hanger directly influences the use of space in your closet!

For example: a wooden hanger has more than double the thickness of a velvet hanger. Looking at them one by one, it may seem like a small thing, but if you think that on a rod that accommodates 100 wooden hangers, you could put 220 pieces on velvet hangers… it makes you think, doesn’t it?

So, evaluate the need for space optimization and the thickness of the hanger!

And did you know that it’s also possible to accommodate skirts and shorts on hangers? There are hooks that fit on hangers, so you can attach the pieces very conveniently!

How to organize shelves

What’s the depth of your shelves?

If your wardrobe has little depth, you can stack pieces with peace of mind.

But for deep wardrobes, avoid covering one stack of clothes with another (remember the basic premise! Everything must be seen!).

In these cases, you can use organizer trays to allocate the pieces so that you can pull and view all the options when desired.

If it’s inevitable to put one stack in front of another, choose to keep the same category in both stacks (it’s another premise: what’s in the front is also at the back!).

If you put two different categories, you seriously risk forgetting what’s behind and spending a long time searching when you need it!

Shelves are also great for storing other items, such as accessories, perfumes, and makeup.

Use boxes and baskets to accommodate these items, always grouping items of the same category.

A good practice is to have a single space to concentrate all the items you want to keep in the closet, but that are not clothes. This way, you avoid small items getting lost among the pieces!

Put everything into practice and then tell us if you liked it, we’re sure it will make a big difference in your daily life!
